Betty Lee Jeffcoat, 93, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of December 20, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born December 10, 1926 in Morgantown, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Gilbert Floyd and Helen (Kline) Ridenour. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie M. Jeffcoat, Sr. whom she married August 30, 1945. Betty was a graduate of New Castle High School. Prior to her employment with Hillview Manor and Golden Hill Nursing Home as an LPN she drove bus for Shenango High School. In addition to tennis and bowling, Betty loved spending time with grandchildren as well as their friends and traveling to Florida to visit her family. She attended Independent Methodist Church. She is survived by her three sons, Leslie Marvin Jeffcoat, Jr. (Darlene) of Apollo, PA, Arthur Lee Jeffcoat of Wampum, PA and Michael A. Jeffcoat (Donna) of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Suzanne Barker (Tom) of Ellwood City; 11 grandchildren, Rhonda Bryan (Dave), Lori Sweigart (Bart), Les Jeffcoat (Michael Schimp), Tommy Barker (Cathy), Matthew Barker (Lisa Heasley), Michael Barker (Jessica), Artie Jeffcoat (Amy), Adam Jeffcoat (Jayme), Tara Jeffcoat, Evan Jeffcoat and Drew Jeffcoat; 19 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Sweigart, Amanda Lewis, Bella Sweigart, Caleb Barker, Ethan Barker, Trey Barker, Luke Laban, Morgan Barker, Connor Jeffcoat, Brayden Jeffcoat, Dylan Jeffcoat, Alyssia Jeffcoat and Adam Jeffcoat, Shalimar and Amanda Bryan, Steven Jeffcoat, Jake and Jared Staph; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene; four sisters, Eileen Ingles, Mary Lou Frampton, Peggy Jeffcoat and Thelma Ridenour. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, from 4:00-6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, with a funeral service at 6:00 PM with the Rev.
