Daniel Eugene Cush, age 70, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 25, 2024, at The Grove in New Wilmington.

Born June 22, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Eiler) Cush.

He married Donna Marie Cush on November 11, 1977. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2024.

He worked as heavy equipment operator employed by Shenango Steel Mill. In his younger years, Daniel loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. What he treasured most in his later years, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed cheering them on at their numerous sporting events.

He is survived by three daughters, Danielle (Mark Francis) Cush of Butler; Denise (George) Michaels of Slippery Rock, PA, Brandi (Todd Lushin) Cush of Alaska; two sons, John Carnahan of New Castle and Ronald Greening of Pittsburgh; seven brothers, Timothy, Dennis, Steven, Joseph, Terrance, Thomas, and Michael Cush; three sisters, Eileen Yeager, Denise Martini, and Mary Cush Robbins; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Daniel was preceded by one sister, Janet Stickley.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
