David L. Marshall, age 72 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Oct. 14, 2020, at his residence. Born April 27, 1948, in Hickman, Kentucky, he was the son of the late David P. and Agnes (Hatley) Marshall. He was married to Dixie (Brooks) Marshall, his beloved wife of 37 years. She survives at home. David proudly served his country, for four years, in the United States Navy with the Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron One. He was retired from Champion Carriers/Miller Industries. What David enjoyed most in life, was spending time with his wife, Dixie. In addition to his wife, David is survived by one sister, Ann Clark of Greensboro, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Donna (Vern) Sipe, of New Castle; one niece and four nephews. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
