Dolly F. Warneck, 71, of New Castle, passed away the morning of February 1, 2018, at her residence. Born August 13, 1946, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Francis T. and Dorothy McKee Ryder. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jack A. Warneck, whom she married August 2, 1965. Dolly graduated from New Castle High School and Youngstown State University. She was a teacher with the Mohawk Area School District for 25 years and the school librarian for the last 10 years until her retirement. Dolly was also a retired member of the NEA, PSEA and Lawrence County PSEA. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Dolly enjoyed dancing and spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them participate in many sporting events. Along with her husband, Dolly is survived by one daughter, Kathleen (Stephen) Cimini of Mars, Pa; one sister, Sally Rocco of New Castle, Pa; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Stephanie Cimini. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ellen Lundie of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating.
