Don F. Genkinger, 72, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of August 21, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
Born December 18, 1945 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of Paul and Dorothy (Fletcher) Genkinger.
Don was a graduate of Neshannock High School and attended Robert Morris University.
He was employed in sales with Martech Patio Furniture in Fort Lauderdale, Florida until his retirement.
Don was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and served as past Governor for the Loyal Order of Moose. He attended Northminster Presbyterian Church and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Glenn Fink of Margate, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Christian and Jennifer Genkinger of Port St. Lucie, FL; former wife and close friend, Suzanne Gonzales; one sister, Paulette Kahne of Rockville, MD; and four grandchildren, Jacob Genkinger, Julia Genkinger, Shelbye Fink and Hallye Fink.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, with the Rev. Dr. Jordan Rimmer of Northminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens in New Castle.
