Edward A. Dombkiewicz, 81, of New Castle, passed away the night of July 17, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Born September 7, 1931, in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of John and Stella Rentslesch Dombkiewicz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Pilarz Dombkiewicz, whom he married August 13, 1955. Edward served in the U.S. Army National Guard in Korea from 1948-1955. He was employed with August Fine Trucking Company as a steel hauler. He was a member of AmVets Post 0014 in Buffalo, NY and enjoyed playing cards and listening to Polish music. Edward was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Buffalo. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathlyne and Suresh Amina of New Castle, and Patricia and Tom Reveles of California; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Ellen Dombkiewicz, and Daniel and Jennifer Dombkiewicz of Buffalo, NY; one brother, Chester Denner of Buffalo; one sister, Christine Kuntz of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Dombkiewicz. Visitation and funeral services are being held in Buffalo, NY with the burial in Mt.
