Herbert Edward Grady,70, formerly of New Castle, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Mount Joy Hospice. Herb was born August 12, 1944 as son of the late Charles and Sarah Grady. He was a kind a gentle soul, had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his "Fancy and Carlito." He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife Sharon Stiger Grady whom he married on June 28, 1975; his brother Noah John Grady and wife Beverly of Geneva, Ohio; step-brothers Robert Frankenberry and wife Norma, James Frankenberry and John Frankenberry and wife Robin; also adoring brothers and sisters in law; several nieces and nephews and a very dear and loving friend Patricia Brennan. Herb was preceded in passing by his step-father Thomas Frankenberry & two brothers. Friends and relatives are invited and may call at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, on Saturday from 12 to 2 pm with a funeral service immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. Pastor Donald Hake will be officiating. Burial will be held in private. Robert and Irene Wegehoft for their support throughout Herb's life and his final days.
