Jeffrey G. Alborn, 49, of Hickory Township passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. Born April 2, 1964, he was the son of Charles L. Alborn of New Castle and Gail Wasserman Wagner of Fairport, NY. Jeffrey attended Laurel High School and was a welder at American Industries in Sharon. He enjoyed fishing, photography, Civil War history and cars. Jeffrey attended Eastbrook Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Carrie Schmitt; three daughters, Miranda Alborn, Megan Tennant, and Rebecca Alborn, all of New Castle; three half brothers, Adam Wagner and Jordan Wagner, both of Fairport, NY, and Jeremy Alborn of New Castle; and a half sister, Jennifer Tarquinio of Moon Township. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A private memorial service was held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. The Rev. Jason Schepp officiated.
