Kelly A. McConnell, 27, of New Castle, passed away suddenly the afternoon of September 4, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born August 4, 1989 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Donald A. and Terry A. Courson McConnell. Her parents survive in New Castle. Kelly was an assistant manager with Dollar General. In addition to her parents, she was survived by one son, Jordan Hooks; one brother, Travis A. (Brandi) McConnell of New Castle; and two sisters, Kimberly A. McConnell and Katie A. McConnell both of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. There will be a brief one hour visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Runyan of New Bedford Presbyterian Church officiating.
