Nancy C. Wetzel, age 84 of New Castle, passed away the early morning of Dec. 24, 2020 at her residence. Born Dec. 7, 1936, in Princeton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Mae (Locke) Jordan. She married James O. Wetzel, who has preceded her in death. Mrs. Wetzel was a homemaker who loved taking care of her home and her family. She also enjoyed playing cards. Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Kim Long and Michelle Wetzel, both of New Castle, PA; two sons, Richard Wetzel, Sr., and Mark (Bonnie) Wetzel, both of New Castle, PA; one sister, Janet Monico of Florida; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy is preceded in death by two sons, Samuel, and Daniel Wetzel, three brothers and eight sisters. In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private memorial service for her family, at their convenience. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
