Vera Evelyn Bolinger, 93, formerly of Princeton, passed away the morning of May 15, 2015 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Born August 14, 1921, in Edmond, PA, she was a daughter of J. Worth Schall and Sarah Townsend Schall.
In 1941 she married A. Eugene Bolinger who preceded her in death on May 11, 2006.
Vera was a graduate of Bell Township High School in Salina, PA, and of Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Tarentum, PA.
She was a member of Princeton Memorial Presbyterian Church, Apollo Chapter #125 Order of the Eastern Star in Apollo, PA, and Wimodausis of New Castle.
She is survived by three sons, Donald L. Bolinger, Dennis E. Bolinger, and Kevin A. Bolinger, all of New Castle; one daughter, Karen L. (Loren) Shaffer, of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Nellie Schall; one sister, Martha Hill; two brothers, Floyd Schall and Vernon Schall; and one step-sister, Lucinda Gartley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.
A service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Philip Harrison officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
