Adam Todd McNickle, age 26, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 20, 2021, at his residence. Born Oct. 17, 1994, in New Castle, he was the son of Jason and Stacey (Hepler) McNickle. They survive at home. Adam attended New Castle High School and attained his GED. He had an absolute passion for the arts and an overwhelming desire for an intellectual pursuit of knowledge. Adam was a talented artist and skilled woodworker, creating various pieces of art, for his beloved family and friends. He enjoyed painting, reading, skateboarding, and being in the outdoors. Adam will always be remembered for his friendly smile, kind heart, sometimes inappropriate sense of humor and his deep love for his family. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by one sister, Rachel McNickle of Pittsburgh, PA; paternal grandparents, Thomas & Jani McNickle of New Wilmington, PA; maternal grandparents, Don & Carol Hepler, Jr., of New Wilmington, PA; maternal great-grandparents Don & Mary Hepler, Sr., of New Wilmington, PA; numerous loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by one infant cousin, Zachary Boyles. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God, 2021 Pulaski Road, New Castle. A service will immediately follow visitation at 3:00 PM with Tyler Voland officiating. All visitors are asked to adhere to CDC guidelines in regard to wearing masks and social distancing. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Adam's name to: Art for Adam c/o Hoyt Art Center, 124 E. Leasure Ave. New Castle, PA 16101.
