Agnes Virginia Caliern Gee, 92, formerly of New Castle, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ the morning of August 27, 2017. She passed at Creek Meadows in Zelienople. Agnes was born on January 14, 1925 to the late Harvey and Mary McConnell Spiker. She married Frank Caliern in 1954. He preceded her in passing on July 25, 1993. She later married Rev. Elwin Gee on December 6, 1996. He went to eternal rest on April 8, 2000. Mrs. Gee worked at The New Castle Troutmans store for many years. She was a member of First United Brethren Church, in New Castle. Agnes was also a member of the Womens Missionary Society where she was a secretary for many years. She enjoyed quilting and bowling. Mrs. Gee is survived by her two sisters, Freda Hudspath of Ellwood City, Genevieve Lydic of Indiana, PA; one brother, Donald (Mary) Spiker of Ellwood City; 4 step children, Dwight (Pauline) Gee of Bloomdale, OH, Debbie (Rev. Rick) Osberg of Knox, PA, Duane (Virginia) Gee of Timberville, OH and Diane (Michael) Frame of Huntington, IN; many nieces and nephews and was dearly loved by all. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Agnes was preceded in passing by two sisters, Anna Hawk and Jenny Beight and four brothers, Albert, Wesley, Harvey and R. Clifford Spiker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. Funeral services will take place immediately following at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Castle View Mausoleum.
