Obituary

Albert 'Albie' Samuel Fleischer, Jr., 75 of West Pittsburg passed away on July 13, 2026, at his farm.

Born on January 19, 1951, in New Castle, he was the son of Albert and Katheryn (Reiter) Fleischer Sr. He married Marlene (Newswonder) Fleischer on December 18, 1982. She survives at home.

Albie was a graduate of New Castle High School and New Castle School of Trades. He was a retired welder, most recently employed with Robinson Industries.

He found his greatest joy in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and spending time on his beloved farm. He was a devoted fan of Pittsburgh sports and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, creating lasting memories together. He also shared a special bond with his faithful dog, Rika, who's companionship brought him much happiness.

In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by three daughters, Shannon (Kelly) Bartley of New Castle, Natasha (Nick) Mullan of West Pittsburg, and Leigh (Troy) Biscardi of New Castle; five grandchildren, Marley, Mackenzy, and Mitchell Horvath and Talon and Troy Mitcheltree.

Along with his parents, he was preceded by two brothers, Jon and Bruce Fleischer; and three infant grandsons, Hunter and Travis Horvath; Tanner Mitcheltree.

In keeping with his wishes a private memorial service will be held at his farm.
