Alberta L. Dengler, age 90, of New Castle, PA, passed away the evening of Aug. 26, 2026, at Quality Life Services, New Castle.

Born Dec. 15, 1935, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Ethel M. (Potts) Jones.

For 67 years, Alberta was married to the love of her life, C. Eugene Dengler. He preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 2023.

Alberta was a dedicated homemaker who found great joy in taking care of her home and the needs of those she loved. She treasured the times she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children, Eugenia ‘Gina’ Williams, Jeff (Kim) Dengler, Kirk (Laura) Dengler, and Christina ‘Chris’ Kerr; one brother, Robert ‘Bob’ Jones; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Alberta was preceded in death by her five sisters, Edith Hunter, Delores Jones, Ruth Haldie, Ethel Shuler, and Janet White, and one brother, David Jones, Jr.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
