Alexander 'Alex' John Mann, age 31, passed away peacefully on Feb. 28, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Boardman, Ohio, surrounded by family and friends following a yearlong battle with cancer.

Alex was a 2010 graduate of Laurel High School. He worked at EMC in Hermitage, and then went on to gain employment with the Local 66 Operator's Union, working as an operating engineer. Alex enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, golfing, watching NASCAR and riding ATV's.

He was a loving husband to Megan (Vance) Mann, doting father to Jackson and Lillian Mann; cherished son to his father, Stanley John Mann, Jr., mother, Susan (Zeitler Mann) Grimm and stepfather Steven Grimm. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; step grandparents, cousins, and some of the best friends a person could have, who remained by his side, until he was called home.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Lillian (Kaye) Zeitler and paternal grandparents, Stanley and Yvonne Mann.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4th, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A Celebration of Life service will take place immediately following visitation, at the funeral home, at 7:00 PM.
