Alice J. Kennedy, formerly of 131 Carol Drive, passed away the morning of December 16, 2010, in the Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care Center, New Wilmington.Born June 16, 1927, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Edward R. and Florence E. Moore Reynolds. She married L.A. "Fuzzy" Kennedy on June 30, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1983. Alice was a secretary for Riggans Advertising Company. She was a former member of Second Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She was a current member of New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church.Alice is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine Marr, of Cape Canaveral, FL, and Joan and Tom Garrett, of Volant, PA; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Kennedy of Divide, CO, and Daniel and Debbie Kennedy, of New Wilmington, PA; a brother, Edward Reynolds, of Sarasota, FL; a sister, Grace Wilcox, of New Castle; and six grandchildren, Dan Kennedy II, Jane Kennedy, Abbey Kennedy, Amanda Sojack, Michael Sojack, and Ryan Kennedy.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Kennedy.Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010, at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010, at the funeral home. The Rev. George Yates will officiate.
