Alice I Roman, 88, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 25, 2015 at Jameson Hospital. Born May 23, 1926 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Carl F. and Nellie Gahagen Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Roman in 1994. Alice attended Shenango High School. She was employed by the Canon City School District as a cook in the cafeteria. Among her many interests, she especially enjoyed cooking and gambling. Alice is survived by one sister, Fay Minteer of Edinburg, PA.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her adoring friends at Riverside Apartments. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Peterson; one sister, Ruth Barnes; three brothers, Robert and Fred Peterson, and Ed Patrick. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City, Colorado.
