Amanda N. Sluder, age 32 of Oklahoma City, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Sept. 30th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born March 31, 1988, in Newark, New Jersey, Amanda was the daughter of Don A. Sluder and Stephanie (Atchley) Washington. Amanda was a graduate of New Castle High School and worked in telemarketing. Amanda is survived by her father, Don A. Sluder of New Castle; her mother, Stephanie (Atchley) Washington of San Antonio Texas; three brothers, Brandon and Carlton Sluder both of New Castle, Spencer Williamson of Texas; two sisters, Jasmine Moyer of New Castle, Taylor Hughes of Paragould, Arkansas; and stepmother, Cindy Sluder of New Castle. Amanda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carlton and Karen Sluder. Public visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 12th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A private family funeral will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM with Pastor Max Bungard of New Castle Bible Church, officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Enon Valley.
