Angeline McCummins, 89, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 27, 2017 at Rhodes Estates. Born May 4, 1928 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Manuel and Carmela Rodriguez-Montes. She was preceded in death on September 28, 1994 by her husband of 37 years, Hugh R. Dickie McCummins, whom she married in May, 1956. A 1946 graduate of New Castle High School, Angeline was employed as a finisher with Shenango China from 1949-1962 when she became a homemaker. Angeline enjoyed sewing and cooking and was of Catholic faith. She is survived by her son Mark McCummins of New Castle, and his fiancee, Sheila Proffitt. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Wasilko. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A Blessing Service will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Frank Almade officiating.
