Ann Valle, 99, of Edison Manor, passed away the morning of April 20, 2013, in the loving care of Southern Care Hospice, at her residence. Born May 14, 1913, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Vanasky Flack. She was married to Harry Valle who preceded her in death. She attended New Castle High School and was one of the greatest homemaker and mother to her beloved family. Ann was a member of the Jameson Aid Society and the Lawrence County Area Agency on Aging.She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting, puzzles and reading. Ann was a member of St. Camillus Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Cangey, of New Castle; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert H. and Judy Valle of Amhurst, NY and John R. Valle of New Cumberland, PA; two brothers, Joseph Flack of Frederickstown, PA and John Flack of Elizabeth, NJ; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Flack; and one sister, Catherine Borotako. There will be a brief one hour visitation on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 4-5 pm with a Blessing service immediately follow at 5:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. The Rev. Father Thomas Lewandowski will officiate.Burial has taken place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
