Anna Mae Reynolds, 90, of Mitchell Road, passed away the morning of January 30, 2014 at Avalon Nursing Center. Born March 30, 1923 in Hopedale, Ohio, she was a daughter of John H. and Amanda B. Snyder Filby. Anna was preceded in death on December 25, 2008 by her husband of 63 years, Earl J. Reynolds, whom she married April 6, 1945. She attended Edinburg School and was employed as a cafeteria worker in the Neshannock School District for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Anna enjoyed spending the winter in Ruskin, Florida, and was a member of Edinburg Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Robert) Armstrong of New Castle, and Laura (Patrick) Brown of Atlanta, GA; one son, James E. Reynolds of New Castle; one sister, Mary F. Biddle of New Castle; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith J. Reynolds; and one brother, John L. Filby. In keeping with Anna's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. Rev. David Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
