Anthony J. Gennock, Jr., 75, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, passed away the morning of March 21, 2014 at Jameson Hospital.Born August 29, 1938 in New Castle, he was a son of Anthony J. Gennock, Sr. and Isabelle Orlando Gennock.Anthony was employed as an electrician with General Motors, Lordstown.He enjoyed trains, antique cars, camping, fishing and spending time at Green Acres in Diamond, Ohio.He was a member of St. Lucy's Church.Anthony is survived by four sons, David (Cheryl) Gennock, Thomas Gennock and Joseph Gennock all of New Castle, and Anthony (Debbie) Gennock of Huntington Beach, CA; one step-daughter, Sheree (Brian) Miller of Hudson, FL; two sisters, JoAnn Shrawder of Florida and Phyllis (Duane) King of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and his former wife, Gloria Gennock of New Castle.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his second wife, Linda Coler Gennock, on October 20, 2013; and one granddaughter, Ashley Miller.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A blessing service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Resurrection Mausoleum.
