Audrey A. Boughter, 79 of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 3, 2018, at her residence. Born in New Castle on April 16, 1938 she was the daughter of Floyd and Lila Wagner Kerr. Audrey is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dallas L. Boughter, whom she married on February 14, 1958. She was a 1956 graduate of New Castle High School and was a homemaker. Audrey enjoyed sewing and bowling and cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (John) Eft of Charlotte, NC and Wendy Davis of New Wilmington; one son, Dallas (Debbie) Boughter, II of Mercer, PA; five grandchildren; Dallas (Ashley) Boughter, III, Bradley Boughter, Hannah (Matt) Spragale, Forrest Minteer and Jackson Minteer; six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Kendall, Sydney, Blake, Brody and Kentley; and one sister, Mae Brown of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. In following Audrey's wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
