Barbara J. Chadbolt, 67, formerly of Mulberry Street, passed away the afternoon of August 25, 2017 at Avalon Nursing Center. Born December 14, 1949 in Grove City, Pa, she was the daughter of Howard J. Hassel and Charlotte A. Ford Vogan-Rickel. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Chadbolt whom she married December 10, 1966. A homemaker, Barbara was of Presbyterian faith. She is survived by three daughters, Melissa (John) Withrow, Denise (Dwayne) Resch and Jacqueline Chadbolt, all of New Castle; three brothers, Frank C. Vogan of Butler, Robert C. Vogan and David P. Vogan of New Castle; two sisters, Janet L. Vermuelen of Burgettstown and Rene L. Rickel of New Castle; and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R.
