Barbara J. Fandozzi, 70, of New Middletown, Ohio, passed away the morning of September 16, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Born September 21, 1947 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Charles Higgs and Dorothy Samis Higgs. Barbara graduated high school in Florida and was later employed with H&R Block in New Castle and Ellwood City. She then became the district manager of Hallmark until her most recent employment as the manager of The Point at Evans Lake Apartments. In addition to cooking and reading, Barbara enjoyed interior decorating for each season. She attended St. Marys Catholic Church. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Michael) Pitts of Florida; two sons, Matthew Fandozzi and Mark Fandozzi both of New Castle; three brothers, Davie (Stacy) Brown, H. Dale (Cindy) Brown and Steve (Joan) Brown, all of New Castle; one sister, Penny Fraser of New Castle; her companion, Dr. David Cliness; and 5 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Shawn Fandozzi; a nephew, James B. Brown; and one sister, Pam Miller. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
