Barbara ‘Barbie’ K. Sweet, age 75, of New Castle, PA, passed away the early morning of Nov. 2, 2026, at Quality Life Services – New Castle.

Born July 9, 1951, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Helen L. (Flick) Sweet.

Barbie was a graduate of Oak St. School. She was employed by Lark Enterprises, Inc., for several years. You could often find Barbie dancing or listening to her favorite music. She was an avid fan of The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Herman’s Hermits. Barbie will be remembered as such a sweet and caring angel of a person.

Survivors include her siblings, Blair S. Sweet of Hermitage, PA, Thomas C. Sweet of New Castle, PA, Phyllis (Stephen) Caravella of Pulaski, PA, and Beverly Huling of New Castle, PA.

In addition to her parents Barbie was preceded in death by one nephew, Josh Huling, one niece, Robin Adler, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be held privately.

Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
