Barbara L. Ziegler, 83, of Chippewa, passed away the morning of June 25, 2022, at her sister's home in New Castle. Born September 27, 1938, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Harry and Florence (Dunbar) Ziegler. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and Geneva College where she received her bachelor's degree. Barbara was an accomplished musician, teaching at many high schools during her career. She also was a professional photographer and was employed at the Beaver County Times. She had a love for pets and also enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Marshall of New Castle; one niece, Wendy (James) Shaffstall of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a great nephew, Edwin Shaffstall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Edwin Marshall, and a nephew, Greg Marshall. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
