Beryl L. Johnston, 91, formerly of Harlansburg Rd., New Castle, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Jameson Care Center.Born in Hickory Township on May 25, 1918, she was the daughter of Loy C. and Martha Myers Patton. She married Perry Dale Johnston on July 15, 1938. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1984. Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church and at the church she was a member of the True Blue Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Wimodausis, AARP and Lucky Thirteen Card Club.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Raymond D. Johnston and Nancy Johnston of Columbus, OH; a daughter-in-law, Linda Johnston of Evansville, IN; four grandchildren, Rebeccaa Canady of Hilliard, OH, Mark Johnston of Columbus, OH, Eric Johnston of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Johnston of Eugene, OR; and four great grandchildren, Lauren Canady, Kayla Canady, Hannah and Jacob Johnston of Columbus, OH.She was preceded by her parents, husband, one son, Dr. Ronald Johnston, two brothers, Elmer E. and W. Kenneth Patton and one sister, Leah Kazenski.Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday, April 1, 2010, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, PA.A service will take place on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The Rev.
