Betty Kay (McFall) Maher passed into glory with her Savior on December 24, 2025.

Betty Kay was born February 17, 1927, to Donald and Ruth (Flaugher) McFall. She was a lifelong resident of the New Castle area and a recent resident at the Haven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jeremiah 'Jerry' L. Maher Jr. and her sister, Nancy St. Espirit.

She is survived by her children: Robert Dean of Republic, WA; Karen Burkett (Richard 'Rick'), Janice Morgan (Richard 'Rick'), Jeremiah 'Jay' Maher (Judy) all of Neshannock Twp; and Donald Maher (Joan) of Longmont, CO, as well as 12 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren, her sister Donna Messner, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Betty Kay was a co-founder and owner of the Quilting Bee in New Wilmington. In her retirement, she volunteered with hospice and Promises of Life Network.

At her request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. A memorial celebration of her life will take place at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church, 5114 Perry Highway, Volant, PA 16156, on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:00 AM.
