Betty Ralston of 812 Lathrop Street, New Castle, PA, formerly of Buchanan Manor, Wheatland, PA, was called to her eternal home the afternoon of June 16, 2014 by her Lord and Savior whom she loved and served.She was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Bertha Grim Candioto, Sr. Also deceased are 2 sisters, Jennie Hetmanski and Clara Williams; 1 brother, Thomas E. Candioto, Jr.; and a grandson, Bruce Ralston.She is survived by her 5 children, Doreen Chastain, Gary, Ken, Scott and Lori Ralston; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.Betty was family oriented, enjoyed cooking, baking, growing plants, was an avid reader and wrote poetry.She was affiliated with First Assembly of God of New Castle.Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2014, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A memorial service will take place immediately following visitation Friday, June 20, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev.
