Beverley J. Tressler, age 63, of New Castle, passed away the evening of Dec. 2, 2021, at Grove City Medical Center. Born April 23, 1958, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late, Charles H. Miller and Sarah F. (Fowler) Miller Sonntag. On Sept. 1, 1979, she married her beloved husband of 42 years, Terry L. Tressler. He survives at home. Beverley attended Choffin Career & Technical Center, for a degree in Nursing. For most of her life, she was a homemaker and loved to sew. What gave Beverley the most joy, was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Beverley attended of The Free Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Beverley is survived by one daughter, Emily Tressler of Wilmington, NC; three sons, Andrew Tressler and Daniel (Jessica) Tressler, both of New Castle, PA, and Timothy (Megan) Tressler, of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, James and Gary Miller both of New Castle, PA; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Paul Sonntag, and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 6th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will take place immediately after visitation at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev.
