Beverly R. Gallagher, 75, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of February 16, 2023, at The Caring Place in Franklin, PA.

Born October 8, 1947, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Kenneth Franklin Hill and Dorothy Belle (Mills) Hill.

She was preceded in death on October 19, 2008, by her husband of 19 years, James S. Gallagher and her former husband, Dale L. Lanham.

Beverly was a 1965 Laurel High School graduate. She was employed as a nurse's aide at St. Francis Hospital and with hospice until her retirement. She was a former member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, Dale (Kelli) Lanham of New Castle; a daughter, Joan (Bud) Brooks of Titusville; a step-daughter, Tricia Gallagher of Jeannette; one brother, Ronald (Lynn) Hill of New Castle; three sisters, Dorothy "Dee Dee" (Larry) Haney of Portersville, Cindy (Took) Coder of Fayetteville, PA and Joyce (Doug) Gardner of Volant; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Ira and Kenneth "Butch" Hill.

In keeping with her wishes, a private service was held for the family at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory of New Castle. Burial was in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
