Beverly E. Panarella, 92, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of August 20, 2021, at her residence. Born July 23, 1929, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Alexander W. and Lillian (Neal) Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Panarella, on October 21, 1987. A Shenango High School graduate of 1947, Beverly was employed with Rockwell International as an office manager for over 35 years. Beverly was an avid bowler, continuing to enjoy the game well into her eighties. She also loved shopping and especially spending time with her family. She attended First Assembly of God in New Castle. She is survived by one daughter, Denise (James) Cochran of New Castle; one son, John (Nance) Panarella of New Castle; two sisters, Joyce (William) Stunkard and Claudia Giddings, both of New Castle; six grandchildren, Cheri Cochran, Amy (Brad) Allshouse, Margee Tinstman, David (Jessica) Cochran and Evan (Chrystal) Tinstman all of New Castle, and Teri (Jason) Rising of Royersford, PA; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua Rising, Camri Cochran, Caleb Rising, Bella and Sophia Tinstman, Emily and Brandon Allshouse; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Neal, Bob, Richard "Dick" Nelson; and one sister, Norma Amalong. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with her grandson-in-law, Pastor Jason Rising, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
