Bonita "Bonnie" J. Meyer, age 81, of New Castle, passed away the night of August 26, 2025, at her Neshannock Township residence.

Born April 12, 1944, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Edward and June (Lowry) Seh. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harvey E. Meyer, whom she married June 29, 1962.

Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of Neshannock High School. She was a supervisor with Jameson Home Health Care and later, a clerk at the former Country House Christmas shop.

Among her varied interests, she enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader. She especially loved decorating her home for the holiday and time spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sheri Douglas of New Castle and Staci (Tommy)Pavlov of New Bedford, PA; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Scott Seh; one sister, Lorene Nettleship; and a son-in-law, Philip Douglas.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Aug. 29, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.

A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joel officiating.

Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
