Bonnie A. Bara, age 58, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of August 5, 2018, at her residence. Born August 19, 1959, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Bill and Sara J. (Trover) Rigotti. She married Kenny Bara on October 20, 1990. He survives at home. Bonnie was a 1977 graduate of Vo-Tech. She was a bank teller at Ellwood Savings Bank and First National Bank. Bonnie enjoyed camping with family and friends. What gave Bonnie the most joy in life was spending time with her family. Along with her husband, Bonnie is survived by two sons; Gary Lee Parks, Jr., and Michael K. Bara, both of New Castle, brother; Joe (Susan) Rigotti of New Castle, step-mother; Joyce Rigotti and two step sisters; Donna and Debbie. She is preceded in death by her parents and step brother; David Cornelius. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will follow visitation, at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
