Bonnie L. Minteer, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
Born May 18, 1960, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward I. and Mary Ann (Wilson) Minteer.
Bonnie graduated from Mercer High School. She was an amazing person who loved her family more than anything. Bonnie had a deep affection for the Christmas holiday, was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, and especially cherished the times when her nieces and nephews would stay overnight at her home. She worked at Kraynaks in Sharon for many years and enjoyed the friendships she made along the way. Bonnie especially treasured the times she spent with her cousins, sharing laughter and memories.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bonnie is survived by her siblings: Terry (Deb) Minteer, Jeff (Connie) Minteer, Mike (Chrissy) Minteer, and Sandy (Darrin) Flick.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were like children to her: Terry Jr Minteer (Janice), Jimmy K Minteer (Melanie), Amanda Minteer (Cody), Andrew Stiles (Kayla Williams), Heather Stiles (Jon), Josh Pierson (Jen), Hailey Minteer (Jake), Jessie Minteer (Monica), Josh Fisher (Taylor), Marissa Unverdorben, Kenny Summersgill (Chris), Mirranda Bauer (Seth), and Jimmers Minteer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Minteer, nephew, Bobby Minteer, and a great- nephew Corey Summersgill.
Bonnie's love, laughter, and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, from 11:00-2:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:00 with Rev. Jordan Rimmer officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
