Bonnie Lynn Likens Mosley, age 69, of New Castle, passed away on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 4, 1947 in Grove City Pa. she was the daughter of the late E. Paul and June Pederson Likens. Bonnie was a 1965 graduate of Hickory High School and a 1968 graduate of the Jameson School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for Jameson Hospital for 40 years, both in the hospital and with the Jameson VNA. Bonnie was a member of Mt. Jackson Presby. Church for 32 years where she served as an Elder and then became a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and helped on different committees. In her earlier years Bonnie enjoyed fishing and water skiing , she also enjoyed reading, she served as a volunteer at both the book cellar and the New Castle Library, and doing jig saw puzzles. Bonnie loved going to lunch with her friends but above all she loved her family. Bonnie is survived by one son Jeff S. Mosley and his former wife Kim Perrino of New Castle, one sister Barbara (Tom) Darby of Hermitage and five grandchildren Alyssa, Tyler, Allison, Caden and Ayla Mosley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Timothy Mosley. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
