Brian J. Kuttesch, age 65, of Grove City, PA, unexpectedly passed away the evening of Jan. 31, 2024, after a courageous battle with bone marrow cancer.

Born June 18, 1958, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late George and Laverne (Hasson) Kuttesch.

On July 22, 2023, he married his beloved wife, Brenda Catterson-Miller. She survives at home.

Brian was a graduate of New Castle High School. For several years he worked at Preston Motors, and other numerous dealerships, as the manager of the Auto Collision Center. He also worked as an Auto Estimator, employed by State Farm Insurance Company. Brian enjoyed camping with his wife in Ohio and was an avid dog lover. He was instrumental in developing funds to grow the New Castle K9 Unit. He was a member of the New Castle German Club and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kuttesch is survived by one son, Justin Michael (Odessa) Kuttesch of Pomeroy, OH; stepson, David Brenneman of New Castle, PA; three brothers, George Kuttesch of Irving, TX, Keith Kuttesch and Charles Kennedy, both of New Castle, PA; three granddaughters and two grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and three beloved dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Barbara S. Kuttesch, and sister, Laverne Ratkovich.

Visitation will be held on Sun. Feb. 4, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Brian's life.

Entombment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
