Brian D. Park, age 51, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Nov. 10, 2020, at his residence.
Born August 30, 1969, in Ellwood City, PA, he was the son of David E. Park and Linda (Ruby) Oliver. They both survive.
On Nov. 30, 1996, he married his beloved wife of 23 years, Debra (Glenn) Park. She survives at home.
Brian was a 1987 graduate of Neshannock High School. He furthered his education at Slippery Rock University, graduating in 1991. Brian was a financial planner and managed several businesses, including Bruster's Ice Cream on Wilmington Road. Brian loved bicycling and completed a 100-mile bicycle century ride in 2016 just prior to his cancer diagnosis. He was an avid fan of football, hockey, and bowling, where he was the past president of Wheeler Dealer bowling league, for several years. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents and wife, Brian is survived by his children, Megan Park and Greg Park, both of New Castle, PA; one brother, Bruce E. Park of Wheatland, PA and one sister, Cindy L. Park of Greenville, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 13th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC guidelines regarding wearing face masks and practicing social distancing.
There will be a private family service, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Lutz, of First Baptist Church.
