Brian Leroy Singer, age 49, of McBride Acres, New Castle, passed away the night of October 27, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born November 25, 1966 in New Castle, he is a son of Samuel Singer and Sharon Hare Singer who reside in New Castle. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kimberly Geer Singer, whom he married on October 24, 1987. Brian was a graduate of Union High School in 1985. He was an inspector for Shenango Advanced Ceramics, and prior, was a millwright with Essroc Cement. He was a member of the Lodge of the Craft Westminster, No.727 and the New Castle Consistory. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a member of the Mahoning Sportsman Club. He loved attending horse shows with his daughter. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer M. Singer and Amber R. Singer, both of New Castle; and two brothers, George Singer and Scott Singer of New Castle. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Stoecker officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
