Bruce Fountain, age 66, of New Castle, passed away on April 16, 2022, at his residence. Born Nov. 26, 1955, in Sewickley, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond Fountain and Mary Lou (Etters) Fountain. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert S. Bailey. Bruce was a very sweet, caring, and generous person. He loved with his big heart that was much larger than he was. Bruce loved all animals and would adopt his beloved pets. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Bruce will be missed by all of his family and friends. Survivors include sisters, Sharon (Don) Harlan, of New Castle, Elizabeth (George) Mitsch of Rochester, Bonnie Bailey of Charles, West Virginia, Debbie Bailey and Brenda (Jay) Wilkinson of Tampa Florida; brother David (Sherry) Fountain of Portersville; two nephews whom he was very close to, Raymond and Michael Wickline of New Castle; great niece Mariah Wickline and great great nephew Waylon Nail of New Castle; two children; close cousin Phil (Phyllis) Blosser of Imperial; caregivers, Mary Jo Booher and Patty Harlan and several nieces and nephews and friends; and his beloved cat "Misty". Visitation will be held on Thurs. April 21st from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
