Bruno J. LaRitz, age 92, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of September 21, 2016 at his residence.
Born March 26, 1924 in Ellwood City, Pa., he was the son of Russell B. and Elizabeth Timpano LaRitz.
He was preceded in death on August 6, 2016 by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Marian Ray LaRitz, whom he married on August 20, 1954.
After his graduation from Lincoln High School in 1942, he took employment with US Steel Ellwood Works, as an inspector for 33 years, until his retirement in 1975. After retirement he worked for Elcast Company for another 5 years.
Bruno was a musician, enjoying playing the trumpet in local bands. He was a member of the Moose Club in Ellwood City, and of Christ Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by two sons, David E. (Dorene) LaRitz of New Castle and Thomas W. LaRitz of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Mary Koszela and Grace Kennedy of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Kirsten LaRitz and Madison LaRitz.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel LaRitz.
In keeping with Mr. Bruno's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. A private emtombment will take place at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Cemetery Mausoleum.
