"Butch" LaVerne Merle Gallaher Jr. born December 24th, 1957 in Ellwood City, PA. Butch passed away at his home in New Castle early Monday morning December 9th, 2019. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Merle Gallaher and Alice Brest Gallaher, and 2 sisters, Sharon Gallaher and Patricia Gallaher. Butch loved his family, friends, animals, The Steelers, Our military, music, and God. His favorite past times were foosball, shooting pool, Rock 'N Roll, and fishing. Butch had a passion for helping others in any way he was able and loved spending time with his family. Butch was survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann Andrews Gallaher. They were married 43 years. He was also survived by his daughters, Misty Gallaher Halfhill (Eric) and Kimber Smith (Maxwell), his son, Merle Gallaher, and 3 beautiful grand-daughters, Rayann Gallaher, "Sissy" LeeAnn Gallaher, and Gabrielle Gallaher. Baby Smith coming June 2020. Butch was also survived by his sisters, Cynthia Gallaher Shaffer, Vickie Gallaher Miles ("Ging" Terry), and Deanna Gallaher Maggio (Mike) brother in laws, Duncan Peak (Karen), "Bud" Patrick Peak, Ronald Peak, sister in laws, Dawn Peak McCrumb (Ron), and Raemee Peak, 20 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Butch's viewing will be held Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, PA 16105.
