Carmen Troy DePinto, age 54, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Aug. 22, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital after a courageous battle with an extended illness.

Born April 21, 1970, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Dominic and Marilyn DePinto.

On March 17, 2023, he married his beloved wife Stephanie (Brindza) DePinto. She survives at home.

Carmen was a graduate of New Wilmington High School. He was employed by Consolidated Glass Corporation as a Shaper. He loved his truck and playing the slot machines at the casino. He enjoyed outdoors, especially fishing, kayaking, and riding his four-wheeler. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Joey Norris, of North Carolina and one daughter Cheyanne DePinto, of New Castle, PA; one brother, Shawn Steindurf, of West Middlesex, PA ; nine grandchildren; former spouse Stacey Ruby of Pulaski, PA; step-sons Seth West (fiancé Lindsey Kamovitch) of West Middlesex, PA, Hunter West of New Castle, PA and step-daughter Savanna West of Hermitage, PA as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Along with is parents he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. September 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A memorial service will take place, immediately following visitation, at the funeral home at 7:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Bupp officiating.
