Carol Ann Boak, 79, of Pulaski, passed away the afternoon of December 10, 2017 at Gulf Coast Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida. Born September 21, 1938 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Herbert C. and Anna Tish C. Anderson Ridgley. Surviving at home is her husband of 58 years, Dean P. Boak, whom she married July 24, 1959. Carol was a 1958 graduate of New Castle High School. She was employed as a clerk at G.C. Murphy Co. and a nurses aide at the Haven Convalescent Home. She was a member and past president of the Raintree Red Hatters and a former member of Second United Presbyterian Church in New Castle. Carol and her husband Dean wintered at their home in North Ft. Myers for the past 18 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jodi A. Boak and Jennifer A. (John) Owen of New Castle; one son, Jay C. Boak of Pulaski; one brother, Charles J. (Margi) Ridgley of Cranberry, PA; and 5 grandchildren, Jesse Dean Boak, Taylor R. Boak Burgess, Carolyn P. Boak, Shawn Stockdill, and Bradley Stockdill. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Jeannie Stockdill. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the R.
