Carol L. Ferry, 75, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of January 15, 2019 at her residence. Born July 14, 1943 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of Carl and Edna Louise (Hines) Clark. Carol was a New Castle High School graduate. She was employed with Lawrence County Social Services with the ACTS program as a vital member of the clerical staff. Prior, she was a bookkeeper with Fishers Big Wheel. Among her interests, she enjoyed flowers, gardening and reading and loved her dog, Mandy. She is survived by one daughter, Amy L. (William) Strobel of New Castle; one son, John (Helen) Ferry of New Castle; 4 grandchildren; and one niece, Vickie (Jimmy) Goff of Hermitage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Dale, and one brother. In keeping with Carols wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
