Carol E. King, age 74, of New Castle, passed away the evening of July 30th, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born April 25, 1952, in Gary, IN, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. and Phyllis (Kean) Parker.

On Dec. 8, 1973, she married her beloved husband of 52 years, William G. King. Mr. King survives at home.

Carol was a 1970 graduate of Hickory High School and attended Robert Morris College. She was a Radio DJ, working for several radio stations in West Virginia, Youngstown, and New Castle areas throughout her successful career. Carol enjoyed knitting, reading, playing games, watching movies, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a member of Business and Professional Woman and Grace United Methodist Ministry.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by one son, William George King, Jr., three daughters, Lisa Wise, Judith (Anthony) Pastella, Leah (George) Logue; two sisters, Janet Reinhardt, Margaret A. Roiter, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John S. Parker and one son-in-law, Jeff Wise.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
