Carol Ann Kradel, 81, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 10, 2019 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. Born May 9, 1938 in New Castle, she was the daughter of John and Mary (McIltrot) Sarbo. She is survived by her husband, James Clarence Kradel, Sr. Carol studied to be a medical transcriptionist and was employed with A.T.&T. in the relay center as a telecommunicator. In her younger years, Carol loved to play softball and to bowl. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed collecting teapots and Beanie Babies and frequenting the casinos. She was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Terry Kradel of New Castle; one brother, David J. Sarbo of New Castle; one sister, Shirley M. Jones of New Castle; 2 grandsons, James Heaney and John Heaney; and two great-grandchildren, Haley Kradel and Asher Heaney. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James C. Kradel, Jr.; and one grandson, Corey Kradel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, from 10:00-12:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Thursday at 12:00 at the funeral home with Rev.
