Cecelia "Cyl" Judith Liposky, age 65, of Neshannock Twp., passed away May 10, 2022, at her residence. Born Nov. 17, 1956, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Woodson "Woody" and Jean Marie (Arnold) Collins. Cyl was a graduate of New Castle High School. She attended Geneva College where she was enrolled in Christian Studies. Before her retirement, Cyl was employed by PA Vital Records, where she worked on birth and death certificates, for more than 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, genealogy, puzzles and her beloved cats, "Lily" and "Tucker". Cyl was a member of Independent Methodist Church and attended Eastbrook Presbyterian Church. She was a devout church member and was very active, helping in any way that she could. Above everything else, her family was very important to her, and she treasured the time she spent with them. Survivors include her companion, Charles "Chuck" Alborn; daughter Danielle McDevitt (Joshua Ryan Williams) of Cochranton, PA; sister, Susan Hasson of Hermitage, PA; nephews, David (Mary) Hasson of Hermitage, PA; niece Jamie Lyn Chundzinski (Matt Kiehl) of Hermitage, PA; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00 PM with The Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independent Methodist Church and Pastor Jason Schepp, of Eastbrook Presbyterian Church, officiating.
